Wheel of Fortune
Cycles, destiny, turning points, good luck.
Upright
The Wheel of Fortune is the turn you did not plan. It speaks of cycles, luck and the larger pattern you are inside without seeing — a change of season, a stroke of fortune, a chapter ending and another beginning. The card usually favours the querent: things are moving, and mostly in your direction. Ride it.
Reversed
Reversed, the wheel is stuck or turning the wrong way. It can mark a run of bad luck, resistance to change, or a cycle you keep repeating because you have not noticed it is a cycle. What you cannot control, you can at least stop fighting.
On the card
A great wheel turns in the sky, marked with the letters T-A-R-O and Hebrew characters. A sphinx sits on top with a sword; a serpent descends on the left and a jackal-headed figure rises on the right. In the four corners, winged creatures read from books.
In love
A chance meeting, a turn for the better, destiny doing some of the work. Stay open.
An old pattern coming round again. Notice it before you repeat it.
At work
An unexpected opportunity, a lucky break, a change in the market that favours you.
Setbacks outside your control. Adjust the plan rather than the goal.
As advice
Let it turn. Say yes to what comes without gripping too hard.
Break the cycle by doing the one thing you did not do last time.
