The Star
Hope, renewal, inspiration, serenity, faith.
Upright
The Star is hope after the storm. It follows the Tower for a reason: this is what is left when everything false has been stripped away — quiet, openness, a faith that does not need proof. The card speaks of renewal, inspiration and healing. Nothing is hidden and nothing is defended; there is only the water, the sky and the work of pouring.
Reversed
Reversed, the star has dimmed. It marks discouragement, a loss of faith, or a disconnection from what used to inspire you. The hope is not gone; you have simply turned away from it. Look up.
On the card
A naked woman kneels by a pool under a night sky, pouring water from two jugs — one onto the land, one into the water. One great yellow star shines above her among seven smaller ones, and a bird sits in the tree behind.
In love
Renewed hope, healing after hurt, a connection that feels like fresh water. Be open.
Losing faith in love or in yourself. Heal before you reach again.
At work
Inspiration returns; a project you believe in; recognition that feels earned.
Creatively drained, disillusioned, or losing sight of why you started. Reconnect with the why.
As advice
Trust it. You are exactly where the next good thing can find you.
Faith is a practice: do one hopeful thing today, even if you do not feel it.
