Judgement
Reckoning, awakening, renewal, a calling.
Upright
Judgement is the call you cannot un-hear. It speaks of reckoning, awakening and a summons to a new life — the moment you rise from whatever you had buried yourself in and answer. It asks for honest self-assessment and then for forgiveness, of others and of yourself. Something is finished; you are being called to what is next.
Reversed
Reversed, the call is being ignored or judged too harshly. It marks self-doubt, an inability to forgive, or a refusal to hear what you already know is true. Reversed, Judgement asks for less severity and more courage.
On the card
An angel blows a trumpet from the clouds while men, women and children rise from their coffins with open arms, grey-skinned, on a sea beneath snow-capped mountains. A white banner with a red cross hangs from the trumpet.
In love
A reckoning that clears the air, or a relationship reborn. Honesty, then a fresh start.
Harsh judgement of yourself or a partner, or refusing to let the past be the past.
At work
A career calling, a decisive review, a moment of clarity about what you are for.
Doubting your purpose, or clinging to a role you have outgrown. Answer the call.
As advice
You know what you are being asked to do. Rise and do it.
Forgive yourself first. Then the rest becomes possible.
