Upright

The Ten of Wands is the weight you chose to carry. It speaks of burden, responsibility, overwork and the stress of holding too much at once — often because you said yes to all of it. The town is near; you will get there. But the card asks whether every one of those wands is yours to carry.

Reversed

Reversed, the load comes down. It marks letting go, delegating, release, or the collapse that comes when you refuse to. Something has to be set down; better to choose it than to drop everything.

On the card

A man carries ten heavy wands bundled in his arms, bent forward so that he cannot see the town ahead. He is close to home, but the load hides the road.

In love

Carrying the relationship alone, or bringing too much stress home. Share the load.

Putting down a burden between you, or a relationship that has become one.

At work

Overloaded, over-responsible, near the finish and exhausted. Delegate.

Letting things go — some by choice, some by collapse. Prioritise ruthlessly.

As advice

Set some of it down. You will still get there, and you will be able to see the road.

Stop before you drop it all. Ask for help today.
