Swords
Swords are the suit of air: thought, truth, conflict and decisions. They are the sharp edge of the mind, for better and for worse. The same blade that cuts through confusion to a clear answer also cuts people, and the suit has a reputation as the hard one because it shows the cost of thinking: worry, argument, heartbreak and the sleepless night.
That reputation is only half the story. Swords are also the suit of clarity, honesty, justice and the moment you finally see a thing as it is. Their question is always the same: what is true here, and what are you going to do about it?

Reading the Swords
When Swords dominate
The situation is being lived in the head: plans, arguments, worry and what has been said. Separate what you know from what you fear.
Reversed Swords
Often a release: the worry easing, the truth coming out, the fight ending. But it can also be thinking turned against yourself. Read the cards around it.
In timing
Swords move quickly, like air. Many readers count them in weeks.
